The Event…Spring Graduate Recruitment and Placement Fair
The Venue…The Sir David Wallace Sports Hall - Loughborough University

The Date…Tuesday 26th February 2013. 11am to 3pm OR 4pm - *NEW* Access Hour – 3 to 4, for students who prefer a quieter environment
The Organiser…Careers and Employability Centre, Loughborough University

Over 70 organisations will be visiting Loughborough University to attend the second careers fair of the academic year, go here for the full list of exhibitors.  This event is for ONE DAY ONLY so make sure you are there to meet exhibitors, hear about the myriad of opportunities available for Loughborough students and pick up a few freebies!  

In addition to the wide selection of top employers exhibiting at the fair there will be organisations offering information on post graduate study, as well as a Careers and Employability stand which will be staffed by highly trained careers advisors who can offer on-the-spot advice.  There will also be a Careers Corner, which will host stands from;

  • Loughborough University’s Student Enterprise team, to answer any questions you may have on starting or improving your own business;
  • the Careers and Employability Centre’s Employability Team, who will provide information on ways in which you can make yourself more employable;
  • and the Careers and Employability Centre’s Information Team, who can provide you with careers related material and guidance on accessing information elsewhere.

So by attending this fair you will be taking a step in the right direction towards securing career related opportunities and directing your future… even if you are unsure about your career or don’t really feel prepared, come along anyway and chat to the friendly and informative exhibitors.

There will also be an Access hour from 3 to 4 for students who may need, or prefer, a quieter more accessible period to attend the fair.  The majority of organisations at the fair are able and keen to stay on for this activity, for further details please go here.
